Christmas in July: It Really is THAT Good
This time of year is basically Christmas in July for all of us fashion lovers and savvy shoppers out there. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is considered one of the biggest sale events of the year and for good reason. First and foremost, the NSale features name brand and high end products for the upcoming fall season. Also, unlike most department store sales, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features NEW pieces at a discounted price for a limited time. The NSale is not a clearance sale friends! When does the sale start?
Make a list and set a budget.
Before I even browse the sale, I like to take time and go through my closet and identify any gaps as well as any items that need to be updated, like jeans, sweater, coats and/or boots. When browsing the sale, write down your must have items. For example: a cashmere sweater, new boots, a new handbag, etc. Think staple pieces for fall you know you’ll wear over and over, or the skincare cream you’ve always wanted but never goes on sale.
Pick investment pieces.
This is the part of the sale that always pulls me in! Brands that are rarely on sale are often discounted during the sale. The NSale is a great time to pull the trigger on that investment bag or pair of boots you’ve been coveting. If you’re not really looking to stock up for the fall, definitely peek at some of these items.

This sale really is like Christmas in July. The hottest items of the season from clothing, accessories, shoes and beauty. Brands like Baublebar, Bobbi Brown, Stuart Weitzman, Kate Spade, Joie, Chloe, TopShop, Tory Burch, Hunter, Rebecca Minkoff, Paige Denim, Kendra Scott, Rag & Bone, Current/Elliot, Frye, and Madewell just to name a few!
