Target is getting a ton of buzz lately for their fall fashion so I stopped in last week to see what all the fuss was about. And I’m here to tell you, it’s GOOD. Like so good, I’ve scheduled my next two try-on sessions for Target because there is just no way to squeeze all the goodies into one! So think of this as Part One of my Target Fall Fashion Preview.
Spoiler alert: Make sure to read the full post to see the most spot-on Spanx faux leather leggings dupes! And they’re just $16!!
Target is best known for their super on-trend, yet affordable styles and they are killing it! Their cozy sweaters, feminine blouses and great fitting denim rivals the likes of Madewell, Anthropologie, Loft, and J. Crew.
This poncho sweater comes in one size fits most and is such a great layering piece for this time of year. It comes in four colors and I ended up ordering the grey.
I’m also a huge fan of these jeans and have been wearing them almost every day! I enlarged the knee holes a little bit at home. I love the raw hem and am in my true size 4.

Target fall fashion definitely includes so many gorgeous flowy and feminine blouses. There is a great selection of work to weekend tops that can be worn to the office or dressed down on the weekend. They are also so pretty for date night, church, or brunch with girlfriends. I wear a small in most Target blouses.

Rusts, pumpkin oranges, and muted wine tones are all huge colors for fall. I love how versatile this plaid is. Wear with cutoffs and a tank in the summer and with leggings or jeans in the fall and winter.
And this little sweatshirt has the prettiest feminine details. I love the pleating and puffed sleeves. I did size up to a medium in both of these tops.
This leopard sweater comes in several colors but I’m loving this pretty grey print. This is another great basic that gives your wardrobe a modern update. It’s also easy to dress up for the office with a pencil skirt or black slacks and down with distressed jeans. This leopard sweater is one of my favorites from this Target fall fashion round-up and I sized up to a large for a more oversized fit.
These jeans are another fall must-have! I am so impressed with the quality and fit. They’re heavier weight denim with just the right amount of stretch and feel way more expensive than their $25 price tag. The only distressing is at the hem. I would definitely size down in these as they do stretch out a bit. I am wearing a size 4.
This cardigan sweater and tee remind me so much of Madewell! These $8 basic layering pocket tees are my favorites and come in tons of basic colors as well as seasonal colors and prints. And this muted stripe goes with everything! I wear a medium in these.
I also grabbed this super soft and endlessly versatile black and white buffalo plaid tunic. If you scroll down, I’ve styled it five different ways! This tunic runs TTS. I’m in a medium but could have worn a small.
Here is the same buffalo plaid tunic styled with what has to be my most prized find from this Target fall fashion preview! These spot-on Spanx faux leather leggings dupes are not to be missed! And they’re just $16!!I sized down to an xsmall for a little more compression and am just so excited about this find.
I added a long cardigan to dress this look up a little bit on the left. I think this outfit could even be appropriate for certain office environments. And on the right, I dressed it down with a jean jacket and cute sneakers that are actually $30 Golden Goose dupes!
This is the same poncho sweater from above in the brown color. It’s such a pretty neutral and is more of a taupe brown shade in person. This would be so cute layered over a long sleeve tee or a button-down for work.
Note: This poncho sweater is fairly long. If you are shorter than 5′ 5″ it may be too long for you.
This little fall dress is another favorite from this Target fall fashion round-up! This dress can be styled so many different ways. Wear it with a moto jacket and booties. Or dress it down with sneakers. I think it would also be super cute belted or even with a sweater layered over the top! I’m in a medium.
