Who What Wear for Target Does it Again
When I spotted this show-stopping sequined pencil skirt I knew I had to create a New Year’s Eve look around it. I immediately picked it up and just couldn’t bear to put it back on the rack. Its just SO stunning. And even better is its show-stopping price tag. Under $30 and 20% off! Because its something I’m not going to wear a whole lot, I just couldn’t see investing a lot of money, but the quality is so good, I can see myself wearing this out with a graphic tee for a girls night or a slinky top for a date night or winter wedding. The Who What Wear for Target line just keeps getting better and better.
The Minimalist Guide to a Sequined Look
This sequined skirt is clearly the statement piece in this outfit. Because of this fact, and because I really just want to be comfy, I paired it with this classic marled sweater from the Gap, simple black pumps and my go-to Clare V. leopard clutch. This clutch isn’t a bargain finds but its seriously worth every penny. Its just one of those pieces in my wardrobe that I find myself reaching for time and again so the cost per wear is ridiculously low. You see, I’m all about budget items and designer dupes, but when you’re in it for the long haul, its definitely quality over quantity.
Anyway, I digress…back to the sequins…I love the cozy, glam vibe of this look. Its actually pretty similar to the NYE outfit that I put together last year! (You can find other cozy glam holiday looks here and here…I guess this has turned into a bit of a theme this holiday season!
And thanks for being patient with me this past week while I took a little blog and social media breather! It was so nice to just unplug and be with my family. Currently, 3 out of the 4 of us are antibiotics so I’m hoping we can get back to good health and I can get back to business! I can’t wait to see what the New Year and 2017 will bring!
