The devil is in the details.
Ahhhhh, the tie cuff. This seasons latest take on the bell sleeve trend and its safe to say I’m smitten. This simple detail takes an ordinary pullover and completely elevates it. And although I tend to stick to wardrobe classics and minimalist basics, even I can completely appreciate how small details on a piece can take it to a whole new level.
This look is pretty indicative of what I wear day to day. I love how the heavier knit layers over a lighter weight blouse. Playing with textures and interesting details is another advantage of sticking to a more basic wardrobe.
I think the only thing that I will miss about winter is my over the knee boots as they have been by far my favorite staple of the season. And although this winter seems to be going out like a lamb, it looks like I’ll still be reaching for my sweaters for at least a few more weeks!

Weekending…
On another note, how was your weekend? Ours was super relaxing but we did check out Paniq Escape Room on Friday night. It was so much fun and I highly recommend it! I was a little nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get it together and break out in time but we made it with 3 seconds to spare! If you haven’t heard of these the objective is for a team to escape from locked rooms within a specified time period. Its intense, but super fun and if you have one available near you definitely check it out!
