Aztec Print Sweater Scarf and New Hair

I’m all for the snow, after all I’m a midwestern girl at heart, but the cold? As I type this it’s something like -6 here in Chicago and that’s not even counting the wind chill! Brrrr. No thanks. Good thing, this time next week I’ll be on a plane to Punta Cana:) Cannot wait! In the meantime, what think of my new ‘do? Overall, I’m really happy with it, although there have already been moments that I miss the length. It was just so much work to make the length look good and healthy and this is just easier and makes me feel a little bit lighter. Does that make any sense at all?

Onto the outfit…I picked up this sweater scarf about 2 years ago at ASOS and it’s just the coziest thing ever. I also love how it adds a little to color to an otherwise plain jane kinda outfit. I’ve linked some similar ones that are sure to punch up your winter neutrals with a little color or pattern. I’m also loving all the gold detail I’ve been seeing on booties lately. Totally obsessed with these. A girl can’t have too many pairs of black booties, right? 😉
