Shop Elevated Winter Basics
If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that one of my favorite Walmart fashion brands is Free Assembly. Think elevated basics that mix and match effortlessly. I also love Free Assembly’s commitment to sustainability. All of the pieces are produced in facilities that aim to protect both the environment and the workers. Also most cotton is organic, which avoids fertilizers and pesticides. So you can look cute and feel good doing it!
A big thank you to Walmart for partnering on today’s post! As always, all items were selected by me. Thank you for supporting the brands that help me bring you great content.
For reference, I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and long legs. I typically wear a 27 or 28 in jeans or a size 4/6. My bra size is a 34D, and I am a true size medium in tops but sometimes size down for a more tailored fit or up for a more oversized fit. If I own the item I will always list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!)
‘Tis the season for cozy layers like this beautifully made shacket. I loved the neutral blacks, greys, and creams. But it also comes in a gorgeous tan and a bold red. I layered it over a fitted ribbed henley that’s perfect for this time of year. These pieces would also be super cute paired with leggings! I have a medium in both and they fit TTS.
I kept this look comfy casual with this half-zip pullover in the prettiest orangy-red hue and high-rise leggings. This sweatshirt has a worn, vintage feel to it that I love. It’s super soft but not too heavy and perfect for layering. I’d wear this to the gym, or out running errands and I sized up to a large.
Of all of these elevated winter basics, this tunic sweater might be my favorite. I can’t overstate how soft it is and the color is just gorgeous! It’s also the perfect length for leggings. This is another piece that could be styled in multiple ways. Dress it up with faux leather leggings and knee-high boots or front tuck it into jeans with booties. I sized up to a large for an oversized fit.
