MY SIZING

For reference, I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and long legs. I typically wear a 27 in jeans or a size 4. My bra size is a 34D, and I am a true size medium in tops but sometimes size down for a more tailored fit or up for a more oversized fit. If I own the item I will always list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!)

Easy Outfits for Summer with Old Navy, white tiered summer dress with puff sleeves, woven farmers market tote

A flowy tiered dress is one of my favorite summer staples. Flattering and comfortable, this one comes in 3 colors and can be styled in so many different ways. Perfect to wear to the farmers market, along with this beautiful and roomy woven tote and some comfy sandals. I’m in a size medium and the fit is perfect.

striped pull on shorts, woven farmers market tote

A comfy pair of pull-on shorts are another summer must-have for me. Throw them on over a swimsuit or dress them up with a flowy blouse and a pair of wedges. And this tank is another really great basic. I love the wider strap making it easy to wear over a regular bra. I’m in a size small in the shorts (size up for a slouchier fit) and a medium in the tank.

Surf graphic sweatshirt

I love a graphic sweatshirt in the summer to throw on after the beach or in the evenings. This one is such a fun color and looks great with denim shorts. It’s super soft and has a roomy fit. I’m in a size medium.

I grabber this little sweater totally on a whim and can’t believe how much I love it! There are seriously so many ways to style it and it reminds me of something you’d find at Madewell or J. Crew. It’s such a unique find and has the cutest fit with the cap sleeves and seaming detail down the front. I’m in a size small and I’d suggest sizing down unless you want a roomier fit.

Easy Outfits for Summer with Old Navy, straight leg jeans, sleeveless ruffle top

Another fun statement top that feels like a J. Crew find. The detailing on this is so beautiful and I love how feminine it is. This one comes in 3 colors but this washed navy color is perfect to wear with your lighter washed denim and white jeans. I’m wearing a size medium.

And while we’re on the subject of jeans, this straight-leg cropped pair is amazing! At just $30, I can’t get over the fit and quality. Ladies you do not have to be dropping big bucks on denim to get a great fit. I plan to tear the rips a little more on mine, and will keep you posted! I’m wearing a size 6.

Another fun top I like to call an outfit maker. The texture of the fabric, eyelet detailing, and exaggerated ruffles make it perfect for a summer date night or casual event. I love this gorgeous color, but it also comes in white (seen here) and a pretty lavender. I sized up in this to a large, it seemed to run a bit small.

Target loungewear, graphic tee, bike shorts

And because I can’t do a haul anymore without including some fun loungewear, this graphic tee is a new arrival and is so fun! There is a pair of matching tie-dye shorts but I love it paired with these periwinkle bike shorts and cropped tank. I’m in an XL in the tee, and a medium in the shorts and tank.
