When I polled you ladies over on Instagram a couple of weeks ago the general consensus was yes you were looking for Christmas outfit ideas but you were planning to stay pretty casual. With the scaled back holidays this year and most of staying home, comfort is key. Most of you were looking for casual but elevated. Read: comfy but not loungewear.
So I put together a few different looks with tops from H&M that are all super comfortable and easy, but also have that festive touch. I skipped dresses and anything that was the least bit uncomfortable, because who’s got time for that?! And, as of this writing, the entire site is 30% off!
MY SIZING
For reference, I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and long legs. I typically wear a 27 in jeans or a size 4. My bra size is a 34D, and I typically wear a size medium top but sometimes size down for a more tailored fit or a large for a more oversized fit. If I own the item I will always list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!)

As of this writing, I could only find this sweater online in cream, but both colors were available in my store. I love the functional rhinestone buttons and elbow-length sleeves. It fits quite oversized, I ended up with an x-small. I also love how easy it is to dress up or down.

In all reality, this is most likely what I’ll be wearing. I lightweight sweatshirt, fun jeans, sneakers, and a statement necklace to make me feel a little bit fancy! I found this necklace on Amazon and it’s the perfect piece to dress up an otherwise casual outfit and make me feel a little more festive. And stock up on these sweatshirts in every color!
