It’s been some time since I’ve shared a Target try on and I’m super excited about all of these Target summer outfits for women! I’ve rounded up a bunch of cute summer dresses, loungewear, shorts, and tops. Target continues to impress me with its on-trend styles that rival things I’ve found from higher-end retailers like Nordstrom. The quality is fantastic too!
MY SIZING
For reference, I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and long legs. I typically wear a 27 in jeans or a size 4. My bra size is a 34D, and I typically wear a size medium top but sometimes size down for a more tailored fit or a large for a more oversized fit. If I own the item I will always list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!)

I love a good t-shirt dress and the babydoll style of this one is so fun and flattering! Dress it up with strappy sandals and a fun bag, or dress it down with sneakers and a baseball hat. Versatile, comfortable, and easy, what more could you ask for? It comes in four color options, including a stripe and some brights that would be so fun for summer! It’s not too short and fits true to size and I’m wearing a medium.

I’m absolutely in love with this little black dress; it reminds me of something you’d find at Madewell! It has the prettiest smocking detail around the neckline that gives it the sweetest little puff sleeves. And apparently I’m loving the babydoll style because it has a similar silhouette to the dress above but the fabric is more of a gauzy knit. And it has pockets!
This is another incredibly versatile dress that can easily be dressed up with wedges or down with sneakers, which I love. And it’s very comfortable and lightweight. I realized that I didn’t have an easy, breezy black dress but it also comes in a pretty coral shade and some fun bright colors.

This rib-knit column dress is so flattering and comfortable. It feels like wearing a nightgown. I love the modest side slits and the higher neckline. It’s simple, classic, and timeless. It’s stunning on its own or layer a tied up graphic tee over it for a laid-back casual vibe. I snagged this from the men’s department and love the logo graphic and fun tie-dye detail.
I ordered this dress in a medium, but I think I small might have been a better fit. I’d say if you’re between sizes to go down in this.

You all know I love a good pair of distressed jeans and this $22 pair is so good! They have a high rise, button fly, and the best distressing. They are more of a straight leg ankle length style, that’s so on-trend right now. And they are super comfy and flattering. I sized up one size in these and am wearing a six.

I’ve been living in loungewear lately, so I was super excited to find this cozy but lightweight tie-dye sweatshirt. Tie-dye is such a fun trend right now! It’s selling out fast so make sure and snag your size if it’s still in stock. I love the cropped, boxy fit and it’s super soft! It fits true to size and I’m wearing a medium.
And these soft lounge shorts are another summer must-have. Great for sleeping in or just lounging around the house. They fit true to size and I’m wearing a medium.

How stinking cute is this puff sleeve sweatshirt?! I am loving the puff sleeve trend, it’s so feminine and adds just the right touch to a casual basic. Wear this casually like you would any sweatshirt or dress it up! It has a cute shrunken fit and I’m wearing a medium.

This lightweight sweatshirt has the prettiest embroidered stripes! It reminds me of something you’d throw on at the beach. It’s another Madewell-inspired top and fits true to size.
These $17 shorts are another great basic that I can’t recommend enough. I love the inseam length, raw hem, and distressing. They are extremely comfortable with a high rise and a good stretch. I did size up one size in these.

Target is my go-to for basic tees and I have this v-neck tee in several colors. They are excellent quality and great for layering or wearing on their own. I wear a medium and they fit true to size.
And if you’re looking for a longer length pair of denim shorts, this pair from Universal Thread is a great option. They have more of a mid-rise and a relaxed boyfriend fit and some stretch making them super comfortable!
