Designer Alternatives on Amazon: What’s the Deal?

For so many of us, Amazon is a go-to for fun fashion finds at incredible prices. And their accessories and bag selection is no different. There are literally endless options. And as I mentioned in my last post on this topic, if you decide to go this route, there are some tips to ensure that you’re getting what you expect.

These sneakers are a steal and so fun! This delicate bracelet is so pretty and would make such a cute Mother’s day gift. I’m obsessed with these espadrilles. They have great reviews and would also make a great gift. Finally, this bum bag is right on trend and is currently in my cart!
TIPS FOR SHOPPING
- Be prepared to pull the trigger. If you find what you’re looking for (after doing your due diligence) be prepared to purchase while you can.
- Read the reviews. Make sure they are referring to the product that you plan to purchase. Read the seller notes, so you are aware of shipping times, etc.
- I’ve also had good luck messaging the seller when I’ve had additional questions or wanted additional photos.
- Be prepared for longer shipping times. Many items ship from overseas and can take up to a month, or in some cases longer, to arrive.
As I also stated in my last post, purchasing alternatives can be a pretty polarizing topic. I have friends who feel very strongly on both sides. But one thing is for sure: if you long for a luxury handbag, but can’t afford the hefty price tag, there have never been more affordable options.
