This bright, lightweight sweater is perfect for spring. The days are starting to warm but it’s not quite t-shirt weather yet. The fun star print is right on trend and it can be styled so many different ways. Today I’m going to show you three ways to style a spring sweater.
Even though spring always seems painfully short in the midwest, it is one of my favorite seasons. I love seeing the grass turning green and the flowers starting to bloom. I love the change in the air and the sunnier, warmer days. And I love trading in my heavy sweaters and for lighter brighter spring sweaters.
The neckline of this spring sweater is so flattering and can be worn multiple different ways. I’ve styled it here off one shoulder, on both shoulders and off both shoulders. However, it can also be worn backward (there is no tag) so it sits higher in the front and falls lower in the back.
One thing to note is that this sweater is slightly sheer, although very soft. I have a bralette on with it, but I’ve also styled it with a cami. It comes in 5 color varieties; I also have it in black.
For reference, I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and long legs. I typically wear a 27 in jeans or a size 4. My bra size is a 34D, and I typically wear a size medium top but sometimes size down for a more tailored fit or a large for a more oversized fit. If I own the item I will always list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!)
I also frequently share in-depth try ons over on Instagram Stories where I always share sizing info!
How to Style a Spring Sweater: With Distressed Shorts
My favorite thing about this sweater is that it can be styled both casually or more dressed up for a date night. I have it on here with cutoffs and cute sandals, but this outfit would also be cute with white sneakers. I’d wear this over a swimsuit with flip flops in the summer!
How to Style a Spring Sweater: With White Jeans
This sweater can also be worn on the shoulder where it drapes down slightly in front or, if you turn it around, in back. I love how the color pops with white jeans and cute wedges dress this up for a date night. I think the navy version of this sweater would be really cute with white jeans too. (All colors are linked below.)
How to Style a Spring Sweater: With Mom Jeans
This sweater can also be worn off of both shoulders – so versatile! I styled it here, super slouchy and casual, with distressed mom jeans and studded sandals. A fun pair of sneakers or even booties would be cute too. I love that this sweater can also be tucked in and bloused out of high-waisted jeans.
I’ve linked all the color variations of this sweater below, along with other spring sweaters that I love!
