Holiday Entertaining With Starbucks® Holiday Blend
And just like that, the countdown to the holiday season has begun! One thing that is top of mind for me this year is getting my home prepped and ready for the holidays.
I love creating a warm ambience for my own family; there’s something special about creating a space for inviting others into our home, too. It can truly be a gift to others when you open your door to friends and treat them to a special time of festivity in your home.
It’s true that the thought of “holiday entertaining” can seem daunting. Honestly, even the WORD entertaining sounds a little frightening to me—like people might expect you to do something amazing to entertain them! But really, I don’t know why we worry so much!
I’ll let you in on a little entertaining secret: if you just focus on feeding people and offering them something to drink, most everything else will fall into place. It’s not all about perfection, right? It’s about connecting with the people, not about impressing them.
But with that being said, I still enjoy creating a little ambience and offering my guest a cozy and festive atmosphere.
A Holiday Coffee Station
As we all know, my love of Starbucks coffee runs deep. So this holiday season, I’m creating a festive holiday coffee station complete with desserts for my guests to treat themselves to Starbucks® Holiday Blend after a hearty meal.

I prefer to spend a little more money on a premium coffee because I genuinely enjoy it and know my guests will as well. The Starbucks® Holiday Blend is balanced and sweet with herbal and maple notes, making it the perfect complement to a dessert course. I plan to serve up a variety of sweet treats that will complement the coffee and will leave my guests happy until their last drop!
And I want to be sure I am set up with holiday goodies to go with each warm and delicious cup. Here are some ideas:
- peppermint sticks
- vanilla stirrers
- frothed milk
- holiday cookies and cupcakes
- sugar and cream
- sprinkled cocoa and cinnamon
I stocked my coffee station with decadent holiday cookies and festive cupcakes, as well as dipped pretzels. Other ideas include peppermint brownies, sugar cookies cut in holiday shapes or cookie dippers for the coffee!
