Burr Ridge Village Center
I am so excited about today’s post! Burr Ridge Village Center is my destination for shopping and dining and you can find me there on a weekly basis. Burr Ridge Village Center is a shopping destination just 15 miles outside the city limits with a great mix of boutiques and national retailers along with dining destinations. If you’re local, I highly recommend checking them out. My favorite retailers Evereve, Loft and Kelley Cawley all have locations there and my hubby and I love to dine at Hampton Social and Cooper’s Hawk on date nights.
Shop, Dine and Give Back
A couple weeks ago, my husband and I attended the Burr Ridge Village Center’s Sip, Shop, Give event. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen this in my stories! The Center partnered up with Cure Search to raise money for children’s cancer research. If you’re a long time reader, you know that this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart.
Your ticket came with samples of food and drinks at many of the Center’s restaurants, as well as special discounts and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at many of the boutiques. There was even live music at the end of the evening!
Needless to say, we got right to work!
SHOP/DINE
Our first stop was Hampton Social. I love the Rosé All Day longe and their lobster roles are the best! It’s the perfect spot for lunch with the girls.
Next, we headed to Evereve, my go-to for casual, on trend pieces that are super mom-friendly. I’ve always loved their tagline, “Dress like a mom.” We sipped on wine and I spent a substantial amount of time in the fitting room! You know this camo sweatshirt came home with me:)
Next we stopped into Wok n’ Fire to sample their sushi and appetizers. While we hadn’t visited before, we will definitely be back! I loved the chic vibe and the food was delicious. Below is a photo of me next to the their giant Buddha.
We finished up with some shopping at Kelley Cawley, where I would have done some serious damage, if my husband hadn’t drug me out with the promise of food and wine at Cooper’s Hawk:) Kelley Cawley offers the most sought-after styles from emerging and established designers as well as their own exclusive collection. Their customer service is second to none and they’re known for their attentive styling services.
We capped off the evening with dinner and drinks at Cooper’s Hawk. Cooper’s Hawk passionately believes that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections, setting the table for a life well lived. This is me and hubby’s all time favorite date night spot. I always order the Cooper’s House Red and have never had a meal that I didn’t love. And if you love wine like me, you definitely need to check out their wine club!
The event was a HUGE success, bringing in $4,000 to support such a worthy cause. Have you visited Burr Ridge Village Center? Let me know in the comments!
