Today marks the first day of early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! If you follow many blogs or fashion Instagrammers, chances are good that you will be hearing about this sale a lot. While the coverage will get old quickly, if you’re looking to do any fall shopping for yourself or your kiddos or plan to shop Nordstrom for the holidays, now is the time to get a jump start! And this post is designed to be not just sale information, but a true guide to fall fashion 2018. Plus it’s everything I’m buying!
As I mentioned earlier this week, what sets this sale apart is that what is the pieces included in the sale are new for fall 2018 and only on sale for a limited time. You will see a lot of coverage of the sale, but I promise that I’ll only be sharing what I’m loving and buying. I’ll also be sharing pieces that can be worn now and in warmer climates in the fall.
What to Shop and What to Skip
I took a poll on Instagram Stories and the vast majority of you are interested in casual basics like sweaters, jeans and boots,. You are also most interested in under $100 pieces. So while I’ll be sharing a few investments, the vast majority of what I’m sharing is going to be budget-friendly.
The good stuff always sells out super quickly. Once it’s finally restocked, the sale is over and it’s back to full price! So don’t wait to pull the trigger on any item you love – especially since Nordstrom has FREE SHIPPING + FREE RETURNS! I’ve already placed my first order and will be hitting up my local store today as well.
I’ll be shopping for denim, booties and winter boots, a new winter coat (it’s been far too long!) and some layering pieces. I’m also going to share my favorite sweaters, but in all honestly, retailers like Target and Old Navy often have a superior selection of budget-friendly seaters that are frequently of higher quality. 🤷🏻♀️Just my 2 cents.
