Happy Tuesday gals! Please forgive the radio silence over here. I’ve always completed and filed Matt’s and my taxes by myself but this year was a little more cumbersome than previous years. Actually, a lot more cumbersome. I’ve never been more relieved to hit “submit” in my life.

Pink for Spring
Pink for spring is about as novel a concept as florals, but pastels are a great way to infuse a little spring style into your outfits, even when it’s still chilly outside. But with that being said, pastels are tricky. Without a great tan, pastel hues can wash fair skin out. And while I love pink, I tend to incorporate it sparingly and include darker colors, like black or navy, for contrast. A pretty anorak or canvas jacket is a great way to incorporate pastels and works well with this casual leather leggings outfit.
Mom Style: An Easy Casual Leather Leggings Outfit
Before purchasing these leggings, I always imagined all of the ways I would style them. Admittedly, they felt like a major splurge because all of the outfits I had put together in my head were pretty dressed up. You know, pretty much the exact opposite of my day to day reality. But the truth is, the cost per wear is probably pennies, given how frequently I wear them!
You might remember this casual leather leggings outfit, from back in January. They truly have become a casual outfit staple. Today I’m styling them with stripes (duh, I mean spring = stripes), a blush field jacket and slip on sneakers. This is such an easy and comfy outfit to throw on that still manages to look pulled together, and we all know that’s a win in my book.
