Spring is Coming! Right??
Ok, someone please tell me that spring is right around the corner?? I can’t even with this snow anymore. Thankfully, we are headed to Mexico in 10 days and it can’t come quickly enough! In the mean time, I’m attempting to incorporate some spring pieces into my wardrobe that I can wear now and wear later.
A Casual Spring Date Night Look
This lace trimmed camisole is under $20 and is such a great wardrobe staple and perfect for a casual spring date night. You could style this piece so many different ways but I love the juxtaposition it creates with casual basics like a cardigan, denim and sneakers. It could also be worn peaking out of a v-neck sweater or layered under a blazer. And as the weather gets warmer I’d simply wear it on its own.
A Denim DYI
Raw hemmed denim is super popular right now, but you don’t need to go buy a brand new pair to test out this trend. Simply cut off the hem of a pair of denim you already own. And if you are really feeling adventurous, check out my tutorial on the DIY step hem. I essentially used this tutorial on this pair of jeans, only instead of cutting the front straight across, I angled the cut upwards toward the outside edge.
Spring Wardrobe Additions
Other pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe lately, include this gorgeous eyelet top, this slouchy spring sweater (also perfect for a casual spring date night), this pretty bralette and all of these amazing under $35 spring and summer shoes.
