How To: Dress Down a Lace Top
I’ve waxed poetic of my my love of Saks Off 5th in the past and this lace top is yet another amazing score from this designer outlet. With autumn finally showing her beautiful colors, but the temperatures still comfortable, this top has been my go to for everything from blog events to meetings to date night. But I just adore how it pairs with distressed denim and a pair of feminine mules.

These sweet little slides combine two of my favorite of-the-moment trends: the kitten heel and the mule. Feminine but entirely practical. Versatility: A Wardrobe Cornerstone
All in all, this case study on how to dress down a lace top is yet another example of finding new and inventive ways to wear pieces you likely already own. Many of us already own at least one feminine lace top in a neutral color. And many of these blouses are conservative enough to wear to the office, but can easily be transitioned to a more casual environment.
And adding edgy to feminine is one of my favorite tricks to get more mileage out of my go-to pieces. A leather jacket, black skinnies or studded booties also pair perfectly with lace. Don’t be afraid to steop outside of the box!
