Can Anyone Pull Off a Floral Print?
Am I the only one that has always been a little on the fence when it comes to spring florals? We all know the line…”Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Yet I never felt quite right in a floral print. I’d see it on others and love the feminine look, but it never seemed that I could pull it off. Maybe its because florals seemed to go against my minimalist nature. Or perhaps its because I can be slightly color adverse. But when I stumbled across this blouse from Dynamite, I fell in love.
It’s soft, almost water-colored, print marries the femininity of a floral print with subtle neutrals and a beautiful, but not overwhelming, ruffle. And the chic choker neckline and subtle bell sleeves sealed the deal. As I perused the Dynamite site further, so many of their pieces incorporated a beautiful floral print in a way that anyone can wear. I love how so many of the pieces maintain a minimalist aesthetic but still venture into florals! I thought it couldn’t be done, but Dynamite has certainly proved me wrong. I can’t stop obsessing over this blouse, this dress and this romper
Moral of the story? If I can pull off a floral print, then yes, you can too! Other moral? It seems pretty clear that my spring uniform consists of a blouse and distressed jeans! Add a ruffle and I’m all set:)
