A Cozy Spring Outfit
Happy Monday friends! I’m not sure how the weather is near you, but here in the Midwest, spring hasn’t exactly sprung, so to speak. Its still fairly gloomy and cool. But nonetheless, I am over winter clothes! So today, I’m sharing an idea on how to refresh a winter piece for the new season. This look is weather-appropriate but feels much more spring than winter.
The Spring Sweater
Keeping the color palette light is key. I simply took my favorite sweater (mine is from H&M, you can find this season’s version here, in 3 colors) and paired it with white jeans and nude accessories. Swapping out blue denim for white is an instant way to switch up your look for spring. And a nude or blush bag, instead of black, will instantly brighten up your whole look. The spring sweater is everywhere right now, but there’s really no need to buy new when you can shop your own closet!
And would you believe that somehow I did not own a pair of classic nude heels until recently? And while this is a closet staple that I certainly believe in investing in, this pair is comfortable, classic and the perfect height and pointed toe for daily wear. So while, yes, in theory, they are worth the investment…maybe you don’t have to?!
