Happy Spring!
Happy first day of spring! Is it starting to feel like the seasons are changing where you are? The weather here is Chicago is still pretty brisk, although the sun seems to be peeking out more often, which is an instant mood lifter for me. But guys, I’m so over buying winter clothes! Honestly, this time of year is the toughest for me to dress for and inspiration seems to fall to an all time low.
Pink for Spring? Groundbreaking…
So when I stumbled across this ruffled velvet pink top I knew it would be the perfect piece to bridge the gap during this transitional time of year. “Transitional”…anyone else sick of hearing that word used to describe this uncomfortable time when the calendar says spring, but Mother Nature says winter?
And I love how perfectly it pairs with these blush pumps from Marc Fisher. These are new from Marc Fisher, who makes some of the most comfortable shoes. He also designed my beloved OTK boots that you’re all probably sick of me wearing! Same story, new shoe. These beauties are sure to be on repeat for the foreseeable future. Comfy, chic and under $70! Plus they are a near exact dupe for these Chloé’s, but 1/10th the price!
You can thank me later:)
So that’s how we’re ushering in spring here! Fingers crossed that warmer days are just around the corner.
Thanks for stopping by! And if you haven’t already, there’s still time to enter the Gucci Marmont giveaway! Just head to this post. P.S. it’s PINK!
