Gray for Days
I took a peek inside my closet over the holiday to do some purging really noticed for the first time that grey and off-white make up the vast majority of my wardrobe. But yet, I can’t remember ever doing a monochromatic gray outfit post. This was shot during the fall and would be too cold to wear without tights in Chicago right now, but might be the perfect “winter” look for those of you living in warmer climates.
Structured details are another outfit element that I’ve been gravitating toward more and more lately. It’s also a detail that makes a piece look much more high-end but is available at all price points from Helmut Lang to SheIn. Its also a detail that makes a look feel feminine, but still modern. My sweater is from last year but I linked a couple that are super similar (I actually kind of like them better, but I’m pretty sure my husband would kill me if I brought home one more grey sweater!) And layering anything over a woven top can only add to a look.
Guys, I’m keeping it short and sweet today. As I type this, it’s 10:29pm and the kids are off from school for 5 more days😯 This mama is tired and needs all the rest she can get to survive this marathon of play dates, entertaining and shuffling around. Keep me in your thoughts, friends:)
