My Jewelry Aesthetic
Today, I’m so excited to be partnering with Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company and sharing my philosophy on jewelry as well as my holiday wish list! My thoughts on jewelry are pretty similar to my personal style aesthetic: classic and minimal with interesting details.
While my most treasured and valuable piece of jewelry is most certainly my engagement and wedding ring, I’ve also amassed a small collection of pieces, that while not as monetarily valuable still means a lot to me. In addition to these pieces, I have a collection of my grandmother’s vintage jewelry that I deeply treasure.
As you can tell I like clean lines and vintage-inspired details. And I love mixing silver and gold! These bar bracelets from Harper & Rose are some of my most frequently worn and are well-made and budget-friendly, especially compared to some similar bracelets I’ve seen.
These two necklaces from Kendra Scott and BaubleBar are also on heavy rotation. They are super delicate but their interesting shape and beautiful inlay detail always make them noticeable.
About a year ago, I inherited my grandmother’s collection of vintage jewelry. She passed away when I was 4 but I still remember her love of color and ornate decor. Her entire home was decorated in pinks, purples and greens. A minimalist she was not. But wearing something that once belonged to her makes me feel closer to her and is also such a great way to add a pop of color amidst all of my neutrals. A large colorful brooch is perfect on a denim jacket or wool coat!
And because my jewelry means so very much to me, I make sure to protect it. Accidents can happen no matter how careful we are, that’s why there’s jewelry insurance.
