Just Add Plaid
Happy Monday guys! Today I’m sharing a holiday look with pieces I’m betting many of you already have in your closet! A flirty flared mini, cozy sweater (more options that I love here), plaid menswear-style jacket and pointed booties. I love this outfit for a casual holiday gathering, or even a festive date night or girls night. The easy formula means its very simple to make it your own with accessories. You could also swap out booties for over the knee boots, or the plaid coat for a leather jacket and chunky scarf. When you work with basics the options are truly endless!
Its beginning to feel a lot like…winter!
How was your weekend? We had a pretty relaxing couple of days after a busy week. Friday I hosted a very delicious lunch at Sullivan’s Steakhouse and enjoyed the company of some of my favorite local Chicago bloggers and friends. It was the perfect kickoff to the weekend! We also picked out our Christmas tree and squeezed in a date night. AND Chicago saw about 8 inches of fluffy white snow, making it really feel like the holidays.
And now time to wrap up my shopping and maybe pick up a couple of things for myself!
