Stepping into fall…
Happy Monday guys! I am enjoying a relaxing long weekend and hope that you are as well. We are taking the extra day to take the kids to a local pumpkin patch and pull out the Halloween decorations. October is hands-down my favorite month of the year. I’m loving the slight chill that’s crept into the air! The change in seasons means I can pull out my absolute favorite boots for autumn and winter. These over the knee boots from Sole Society are the most comfortable and flattering shoe that I’ve added to my wardrobe this season. And I love the taupe color, the perfect blend of beige and grey.
Over the Knee Boots: A New Classic
I’ll definitely be pairing them with my skinny jeans, but I love how taller boots balance a flared skirt and skater trench. This trench was a spring purchase from ASOS and I love how the olive color transitions perfectly into fall. Thankfully, they have brought this exact style back in some gorgeous neutrals and I’ve linked them all for you! One of my favorite things about this look is that it combines pieces that many of us already have in our wardrobes. Each season, I find myself drifting back to the basics, and this time is no different. Classic pieces that can be combined in new and different ways the whole year through.
And over the knee boots, which started as a trend, and have most definitely become a closet classic. My favorite is this style, soft sued with a low heal, because they are so versatile. They are amazing with jeans, but work just as well with skirts and dresses.
Finally, I’d like to thank you for your supportive comments and messages on Friday’s post. The business of blogging and all that goes along with it is a topic that seems to resonate more and more. I do so enjoy sharing these stories, even the more difficult ones, and love hearing your feedback.
