As we get through these dog days of summer I find myself starting to look forward to cozy sweaters and warm cops of soup. However, the weather is not cooperating with these thoughts! Transitional fashion basically means don’t pack away your summer pieces just yet! With just a few simple styling tricks you can take your favorite warm-weather basics into fall. The classic shirt dress is a piece that’s appropriate across all seasons, but is particularly prevalent in the summer months. I’ve styled this ruffle hem shirt dress with my favorite nude peep toe booties make the dress more fall appropriate. Now that we have the first week of school under our belts, I’m ready. I’m ready for hot coffee, instead of iced. Ready for chilly evenings and cozy layers and slippers. And in all honesty I just love fall fashion! Over the weekend I purchased this sweater and this ruffle hem jacket {I guess I have a thing with ruffle hems!}. Both pieces are just oh so fall.
