Thank you to Ego Soleil for sponsoring this post. Opinions expressed are always my own.
In a couple of weeks I will have the opportunity to attend New York Fashion Week, which is something I have been dreaming of since I was a little girl. The prep and planning has been a whirlwind, as will be our stay. Anna and I fly in on Friday, September 9th and will have an exciting and busy couple of days attending a couple of shows and parties, shooting and people watching. I can’t wait to report back on the experience as a whole. I’m especially excited about the fabulous street style and the trends we can look forward to seeing in the spring. {Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat – wishes_reality!}
Although we are currently transitioning to fall fashion, preparing for Fashion Week has me excited about what new trends we can look forward to adding to our wardrobe next summer. One line that I have my eye on is Ego Soleil, a contemporary fashion brand founded in NYC. This prominent New York-based contemporary fashion house offers a mix of downright edgy designs, always looking to push limits and explore what’s possible.
Ego Soleil’s modern silhouettes and clean lines definitely speak to my personal aesthetic so when I learned they had recently partnered with the Style Saves, I was happy to join the effort to spread the word about the relaunch of the brand. The Style Saves is a registered non-profit dedicated to helping children in Florida, Colombia, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and South Africa.
Fashion For A Cause.
The Style Saves helps to fund much needed educational necessities like school uniforms, shoes, classroom supplies and prescription glasses to underprivileged children. All just in time for the annual back to school rush. I have posted before about my dedication to support brands who maintain a social conscience and this has been another wonderful opportunity to do just that.
A minimalist approach to color:
Beyond the philanthropic partnership, I’m also drawn to Ego Soleil’s attention to detail. Their designs focus on encompassing superior quality and attention to detail at affordable prices. And even though bold colors are incorporated, the silhouette appeals to my minimalist aesthetic.
One of my favorite pieces is the magenta backless jumpsuit featured in the first photo. I would love to be able to wear it to Fashion Week…maybe in the spring?! I also love the navy and coral pairing and the clean lines the piping creates on some of the pieces.
Ego Soleil is definitely one to watch. Be sure to stay tuned for their newly redesigned site!
I’d love to know what would you like to see from #NYFW! Share in the comments!
