Happy Friday guys! We made it through another week! Even though it was a short one, it felt longer than usual. Maybe my expectations were too high! Today I’m rounding up my latest Instagram posts as well as what I’ve been up to this week: what I’m eating, shopping, reading and blogging about.

EATING::
This week was a whirlwind and after trying a couple of new recipes last week, I found myself turning to easy favorites like black bean tostadas and shrimp with quinoa and corn salad. My husband and I are big fans of anything Mediterranean inspired so I have big plans this weekend to try Greek Chicken Kebabs with Tzatziki Sauce and this Mediterranean pasta salad.
We will also be doing plenty of grilling because its summer and it’s just what we do. I’ve always wanted to try grilling a pizza. I hear its amazing and this recipe for grilled white pizza with bacon and basil looks positively delectable! Have you ever grilled pizza? Any tips?

Blogs. I love discovering new blogs and lately I’ve found a few that have been incredibly inspiring.
Badlands: minimalist, chic and named for a place very near where I grew up. Majorly hooked on this one. And now seriously considering cutting bangs.
Egg Canvas: because Erica’s travel diaries and photography will stay with you for days and make you see some things in entirely new ways.
The Middle Closet: Hailey and Paige are two sisters who have nailed effortless style and fabulous photography and are happy to share all that they’ve learned along the way. They are also both incredibly sweet, genuine and just born naturals at this blogging business.
SHOPPING::
Banana Republic. And its been a loooooong time since I’ve said that! I recently ordered this off the shoulder top, this summer sweater, this wear everywhere peplum top, and these skinny ankle length black pants, because I’m a grown up and need a decent pair of black pants even if I don’t go to an “office”:) Seriously, I could have doubled my total. Its just all so good. And the sale section is pretty amazing too. They seem to turn product over pretty quickly in store so definitely stop in and scope it out if you haven’t lately. Everything from great layering pieces, to dresses, to fun tops, to blazers and jackets.
