Happy Monday guys! Have you picked out your outfit for the Fourth of July yet? I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I’ve been obsessed with Banana Republic lately. I recently picked up this little off the shoulder top and while its a bit more than I usually like to spend, its definitely proven to be well worth it. Its lightweight and super easy to dress up or down. It works with shorts to run around with the kids as well as with these chic flared white jeans for a date night. And the vertical stripes are so flattering!
I hunted for the perfect off the shoulder top for some time trying to find one with just the right neckline. This style can be tricky and the wrong fit can be uncomfortable, but this top stays in place without even leaving any marks on my skin. And because its so versatile its the perfect top to pack for vacation. Throw it on over a swimsuit or dress it up for a night out. I’m always looking for pieces that can transition easily and this one fits the bill perfectly. And add a red bag, and you’re good to go for the Fourth!
This week I’m back from vacation and feeling rested and re-inspired. I think I spent more time laughing and smiling in the past two weeks then I have in a very long time. My smile lines might be a bit deeper now, but it was well worth it! We had a great time and something about traveling back home left me feeling so very fortunate to have this little family of mine.
