Happy hump day guys! Who doesn’t love a throw on a go dress that is both super comfy and super flattering? This grey knit midi dress from H&M is basically the sweat pants of dresses. Usually form-fitting midi dresses make me extremely nervous. In fact I almost passed this one up all together, but as I flipped through a rack at H&M one day and touched it, this one was just so soft. And something about the way it draped, even on the hanger, gave me hope.
Since I had some other things I wanted to try on anyway, I thought “what the hell” and into the fitting room I went. I’m not sure if its the angle of the ribbing or the fact that it’s form-skimming more than form-fitting, but the dress was just what I had hoped. I also loved the elbow length sleeves and the tight neckline {something I’m weirdly obsessive over when it comes to knits in general}. And for under $15? Yes, please.
Something I also have to ask myself before making a purchase, is if I can style the piece multiple different ways. I originally imagined wearing this with simple strappy sandals, but I decided it really is the perfect casual dress and added black Chucks and a my favorite white saddle bag. And how cute would it be with a jean jacket and booties in the fall? And it also comes in blue. #h&mdoesitagain
