Happy February 1st! Have you made your Valentine’s Day plans yet? Will it be a girl’s night or a date night? Or a night on the couch binge watching your favorite show? 🙂 Whatever you are doing, Valentine’s Day is always a fun day to dress up a little and step out of your comfort zone. I love this look, because its fun and flirty, but still polished and warm enough to wear in February in Chicago! Layering is key. On top I added a crisp button down under my favorite cropped sweater and then added a fun tailored jacket over the top. Mine is thrifted {the label is McGinn} but I’ve linked a bunch for you below and my favorite is under $20. On the bottom, I kept it simple with tailored shorts, tights and over the knee boots, which amp it up a bit.
My hubby and I decided to celebrate VDay a bit early this year since our daughter’s birthday is on the 14th, she tends to hijack the day a bit;) Chevy was amazingly generous and let us drive this gorgeous, fully appointed Traverse LTZ for the past week. We took it out over the weekend and had the best time being tourists in our own city. I love how sleek this SUV is. It actually felt more like driving a car. And the dual sunroof, full entertainment system and comfortable leather seats didn’t hurt either. Perfect for our family.
