It was a bit of a rough weekend over here. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather and yesterday afternoon we had an unexpected loss in the family. Its hard to be far away when you want nothing more than to be there to offer support or at least show up with food and a shoulder for whoever needs it.
The weather matched my mood and after raining all day Saturday it turned to snow and then hit a whopping 12 yesterday. We’ve been a bit spoiled so it feels especially brutal. Not gonna lie, I spent the weekend cozied up in this cable knit poncho.
I did some running around on Saturday in said rain and was happy to have my trusted Hunter boots and this BLUNT USA umbrella. My BLUNT Classic can withstand winds up to 72 mph and is engineered for unrivaled performance against the elements. The sleek and mod design stretches the canopy as tautly as possible preventing BLUNT umbrellas from turing inside out, which in Chicago, is about as much a miracle as I’ve seen. And we could all use one of those.
Wishing you as good of a Monday as they can be ~ thanks so much for stopping by!
