Blanket scarves have reigned supreme as fall and winter’s must-have accessory for the past few years and they don’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon! Last year I stalked up on quite a few patterns and colors (as seen here, here and here) and this year I am eyeing this color block option, this frayed classic style and this tartan plaid number in blue (although all of the colors are gorgeous!).
Blanket scarves can be styled in so many different ways from belting as a faux cape or vest, draped over the shoulders as a shall, or wrapped around the neck in any number of different ways. And as opposed to bulky down coats, scarves are both chic and statement making accessories. Oversized scarves are also perfect for print mixing; I especially love how plaid and color block scarves look when paired with a striped sweater.
