One of my favorite way to spend time with my girl friend is having a girls night in and a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do just that with a couple of my favorite blogger girls Katie from Little Black Blog and Kaleigh from Lux & Concord (along with a few other friends). The fabulous AC Hotel Chicago was kind enough to host us.
The AC Hotel Chicago is a boutique-style hotel located in Chicago’s famed River North neighborhood. Filled with sleek, minimalist decor and extremely comfortable rooms, the AC made us all feel pampered after a long week. We started the evening with a cocktail and some light bites in their 4th floor lounge and got busy catching up like only girls can!
After finishing our cocktails and chatting a while, we headed back to our rooms to kick off our night in. Thanks to Bombo Bar and Bar Sienna we capped off our appetizers with the most delicious gelato and Bombolinis…Of. All. Time.
After stuffing ourselves enjoying our delicious treats, laughing until our stomachs hurt and sampling some fun beauty products, we turned in for the night. One of the best parts was that we had 3 adjoining rooms so we could hang out all evening and then go our separate ways once our sugar high had worn off. It was the perfect getaway and made me feel lightyears away from the responsibilities of home, even though I was just a short ride away!
