With denim, it’s all about finding the right fit. Shopping for jeans can be a nightmare, but it doesn’t have to be! With the launch of Target’s new denim line, it’s nearly impossible not to find that perfect jean. And you know what I mean by “the perfect jean”; it’s that pair that isn’t just comfortable, it fits as though it was tailor made just for you, hugging your curves in all the right places and giving you that boost of confidence that only the right jean can give. It washes away insecurities and allows you to own the room. And with the plethora of styles and washes to choose from, you may even find more than one pair to love!
Target sent me 4 different styles to test run for 2 weeks, and out of the gate I was impressed! I tested 2 pairs of skinny jeans (my go-to style), a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and and a pair of high waisted, exposed hem flares. I have to be honest, they really all surpassed my expectations and I am not just saying that. You will always get my honest opinion here and while I will say the distressed skinnies were the least comfortable (the rise was too low for my taste), they all literally fit like a glove. And while skinnies are my go-to style and have been for the past several years, the flares and boyfriend jeans have been on heavy rotation and are so perfect for the more casual summer days. These jeans stretch, so try a size smaller than you might normally wear. I was able to go with my normal size but could have sized down, especially in the pairs with higher stretch. The best part about the new Target denim: the versatility. As a busy working mom, I need on trend denim that can be dressed up for a meeting or launch party and dressed down to go to the park. Done. Also, you can’t beat the price. And starting July 26th, you can try on Target denim in the store and receive an extra $10 off! Seriously guys, this is the real deal and you won’t be disappointed:)
