As some of you know I’m just back from the beautiful Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a tough re-entry and I’m feeling a bit of the winter blues even though Chicago is technically in the midst of a warm-spell (if you can call mid to upper 30’s warm). But do you know what will make 37 degrees feel extra chilly? 85 degrees and palm trees for 6 days.

I actually shot these photos the day before I left and I have to say that this sweater was an great find! I picked it up during the holiday sales and it’s the perfect shade of icy blue, pairing beautifully with all of the other winter pastels that we’re seeing now, a trend that will surely continue into the spring. I can imagine pairing this over dresses and skirts once warmer weather arrives. Of course, I had to add my favorite fedora, fringed bag (another favorite trend we’ll be seeing into spring) and OTK boots. I’ll leave you with a shot from my last day in Punta Cana:)

Thanks for stopping by!
