Dressing Up Fall Trends with RD’s Obsessions

When I first started reading RD’s Obsessions earlier this year, I was immediately hooked. Rach’s style is so effortless and chic. As soon as I realized she was also a #chicagoblogger, I couldn’t wait to connect. Needless to say, I was super excited when we finally met at an event earlier this year and decided to collaborate. And since fall is in full swing, we wanted to not only showcase our favorite fall trends, but also dress them up a bit. Staying stylish can be a challenge as the temperatures drop, so hopefully this can provide some inspiration as you prepare for holiday parties, weddings and other events.
Obviously we had a ridiculous amount of fun! If you haven’t already, definitely check out RD’s Obsessions!
What I wore:
jacket: Forever 21 // dress: ASOS, LY, similar, also love this and this // booties: Forever 21 // clutch: Clare Vivier via Piperlime // bracelets: c/o MadStyle
What Rach wore:
jacket: Express, old similar // dress: H&M // booties: Rebels, old, similar // bracelets: Fair & Squaresimilar // rings: H&M
Can we talk about this faux fur jacket? I mean how amazing is this shade of blue. I was honestly kind of over the whole faux fur thing until this piece caught my eye. (I also love the pink shade as well.) It’s actually surprisingly versatile and although I really love how it looks dressed up, it’s also amazing with distressed denim, moto boots and a cozy sweater. Shop my look below!
I’m also totally in love with Rach’s dress. I love the white background of the print; so different from the usual beige that you see. It will also work across all seasons: with leggings and a cozy sweater, come winter, and with strappy sandals in the summer! And at less than $15, it really is a must-have!
Thanks for reading!
