October is Breast Cancer awareness month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. Breast Cancer runs in both mine and my husband’s family so it is something I am acutely aware of. A friend of mine was also diagnosed in her mid-30’s, so its something that can strike at any age. This post is my homage to this important cause. Remember your monthly self-exams, ladies!
