Macy’s Culinary Council Presents a Live Cooking Demo with Chef Bill Kim

One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to visit Macy’s on State Street to see the holiday windows and eat in the Walnut Room under the giant Christmas tree. This year, I’m also excited to visit Macy’s to attend a live cooking demo by Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Bill Kim of Urbanbelly and BellyQ.

Chef Kim is known for his Asian-inspired menus. My favorite of his recipes is the Spiced Shrimp with Tomato Salsa and Avocado Dip. I’ve recreated it at home and its been a huge hit! The Soba Noodle Salad with Pesto and Grilled Eggplant is an amazing vegetarian main dish that we enjoy as well.

Join Me!

So if you’re free this Friday, December 8th at noon, come and spend a delicious afternoon at Macy’s State Street with me and Chef Bill Kim. Learn from the master chef as he shares stories, his best kept culinary secrets and techniques on how to prepare some of his favorite award-winning dishes. The best part? There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy!

The Macy’s Culinary Council live cooking demos never disappoint. I always leave with amazing recipes to make at home, as well as picking up some new cooking tips and tricks!
