Layer it On

Lately, the weather in Chicago has been a bit on the moody side. Sometimes it feels like spring has arrived and other times…well, other times it snows. Its very hard to keep up and dressing can become a challenge to say the least. The key to maintaining any level of sanity is layers. Lots of layers.

The Classic Black Moto Jacket

One such layer that I couldn’t be more happy to add back into my rotation is the classic black moto jacket. I really think that it might be my #1 closet staple. I love how it dresses down and adds edge to a flowy spring dress as easily as it elevates a simple sweater and jeans

But the truth is…

…I hate ‘transitional fashion’.

What I want to talk about is what I love for Spring. But that’s not easy when its still snowing and chilly. So my goal is going to be to get out some posts that show you how to incorporate some of the pieces that you really want to wear and still be warm and comfortable.

If there is something specific that you’re wondering how to style when the weather isn’t on your side, leave a note in the comments and I’ll do some brainstorming!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!
