Happy Friday! Today, I’m so excited to be partnering with Layer3 TV and sharing a little sneak peek into our weekends at home. During the week my family stays so busy with work, school and extra-curriculars, that we all look forward to Saturday morning. We lounge in our PJs, eating donuts (chocolate with sprinkles, of course), drinking coffee and watching cartoons with the kids. And its awesome. Seriously. Gone are the days where I can’t wait to get dolled up to go out on Friday night with my friends. Saturday morning is where its at. Continue Reading

Spring Home Updates with Furniture.com
With a new season upon us, I’ve been itching to make some changes in my home. And this color palette pretty much epitomizes spring. I’m drawn to lighter neutrals with pops of soft color (like this to die for lilac chaise). But as much as I love white, with two kids in the house its not the most practical color choice for say, a couch. So instead I’m incorporating it in my accent furniture and decor.
Making Home Decor Updates on a Budget
Small changes can have a big impact! Simply swapping out throw pillows and updating paint or wall art can have a major impact. Similarly, adding a chic rug or a piece of statement furniture like a gorgeous chair or mirrored chest can completely change the feel of a room.
I’ve selected all of these pieces from furniture.com which showcases items from different retailers in one place. Sort of a one-stop shop for furniture for everything from full furnishings for the bedroom, living room and dining room, to accent pieces and home decor. But if you’re like me, purchasing furniture, or even home decor, online can be a little daunting. Its hard to imagine the scale of certain items, not to mention how they feel to sit on. It can be nice to physically touch and see furniture and home decor before making a purchase. This is why its so great that not only can you shop online at furniture.com, but you can also…
On furniture.com you can not only shop online, but also find all local furniture sales in your area for everything from local retailers to chains like Ikea and CB2. So you can shop your favorite shops and know you’re getting the best deal! Its a win-win no matter how you prefer to shop!
Are you making home decor updates for spring? I’d love to hear your favorite trends and ideas for switching things up in your home!
